I can't speak highly enough about JSE products and staff. I ordered this back in June and it took me a couple months to reach 1000 rounds so I could give an honest review, and I'll start with the (sort of) con.
Con: Like almost of every other complete upper I've ever bought, it's overgassed. Will it make it more reliable when it's insanely filthy? Yes. But it also increases 5.56's low recoil and slows down follow up shots so I popped on an adjustable gas block and now it runs like a dream.
Pros: It's reliable, it's accurate, it's light, and it just works well. With Winchester 55gr FMJ, Hornady and Fiocci 55gr varmint rounds, I can consistently get 3-shot groups on my 6" steel target at 300yds with my 4x acog from sitting or kneeling. I'm confident it would do even better from a bench.
Bonus round: I forget the name of the lady I spoke on the phone with, but she was able answer all of my questions regarding their products so I could make sure I was actually ordering exactly what I wanted. She was also very good at just being good at customer service, it seems like most service people have forgotten how to have normal human dialog since covid. Truly a breath of fresh air, I will definitely be buying all my uppers from JSE.
