Ever wonder what would happen if you accidentally chambered a 5.56 round in a .300 BLK barreled upper? Best not to find out. That's why I replace all my ejection port covers with these laser engraved covers. I would recommend this to all builders. And these covers are well made and engraved and are come at a great price.

Got tired of having to look for the barrel markings to determine the caliber. Perhaps that is a sign that I am getting old, or possibly that I have too many rifles...I'll go with old as you cannot have too many rifles... This is just a standard cover with the caliber laser etched. Nothing particularly special yet absolutely perfect for my needs. Etching is clean/crisp in a pleasing font. I like the etched caliber on the inside of the cover so it only shows when open. Started using these to replace the ejection port covers on my rifles and also on customer rifles. They really appreciate the added touch.

The engraved cover is a nice enhancement for any rifle the only problem with this product is the cheap e-clip
