this is a great barrel but be aware no body makes a 1.05 inside diameter barrel nut, you have to hone down your barrel nut on the inside to get it over the barrel.it took me about 3 hours of slowly honing it down and checking it to get the size right,,,be very aware how much you take off or the nut is ruined,,,,,do so at your own risk,,,or get a gun smith for the job,,got mine on and just fired it this morning works great, 4 stars for the barrel nut problem Kenton in Va.

I also did a review on the 18" stainless Wilson arms barrel. I run a sporting clays club, am an instructor, gunsmith, and farm. I zero rifles all the time for customers. My son and I shoot every day be it rifle, pistol or shotgun. I bought him this barrel for a build for his 14th birthday. He did an AK 47 for his 12th, and a 1911 this past xmas. Anyway, I'm only interested in accurate rifles and after the AK (which he loves but 3" groups at 100 ain't for me),He was ready for a tack driver. PSA lower and Nickle boron BCG with an Anderson upper from JSE. In a couple of sessions with handloads we have found 2 loads that will do sub .5. 69 SMK with 24.7 varget is sub .375. 24.5 h335 and a 50 grain ballistic tip is sub.5. Most anything holds under 1 1/4" at worst on scatter nodes and comes in around .5 in the accuracy node. And both of our barrels shoot to the same poi at 100 with different loads. That doesn't happen regularly with some barrels. I've, bought 2 and wouldn't hesitate to buy another. When I build my 6.5 Grendel. I'll put a Wilson Arms Bull barrel on it Too.

went with the 16 inch to save a bit on weight over an 18. It is heavy but I can still shoot from a standing position without the need for additional support and keep it still. Shoots super accurate and I can keep my groups very tight. It is loud though and the flash is pretty awesome!

Installed on my Colt A3, excellent barrel and performs as I expected. I shoot 3rd groups and all touching @ 100yds. It stays very cool when shooting for precision (shooting 3rds @ approx. 2 minutes) I have not just all out blasted it but I am sure it stays cooler than the factory hbar barrel. No complaints at all. I am going to purchase another Wilson barrel for my 20" Colt but I am contemplating a 22" Wylde barrel. As for JSE's performance, excellent. Fast shipping and they put up with my mouth with Sirs and smiles, they aim to please :D I try to buy all my AR needs here.
