Very nice barrel

This barrel is very accurate with just about any ammo put thru it. Heat and whip are a thing of the past with this thing. It is heavy for sure, but for bench rest shooting that's not an issue. If you're considering one, do pay attention to the 1.05" o.d. Most barrel nuts will not fit. I bored out my nut with a brake cylinder hone which worked out fine. The YHM Diamond handguard nut will fit as will some from Young, Hogue and some from Midwest Ind. I knocked it down one star in the rating because the gas port is entirely too large. No matter the ammo used, shells are landing at 1-2:00. To reduce recoil and ensure proper operation, an adjustable gas block or gas key will likely be needed.
