I have this barrel on my upper and I have been able to get around 3/4-1/2 inch @100yrds using match ammo. I did this while breaking in the barrel. I have noticed a large fireball coming out of the short barrel without a muzzle device. Overall can't ask for anything more.
Yes, it is heavy!

I'm run a sporting clays club, am an instructor, and also a gunsmith. I also farm. I'm always needing an accurate truck gun for coyotes or many other pests that hang around a farm.
I bought a 16" stainless for my 14 year old and it shot so well I decided to upgrade my Frankenstein build with the 18" Black stainless Bull with mid length gas. Mated it to an Anderson stripped upper, new free floated hand guard. Cheap hand guard. I'm a practical man. And kept my old bcg. Then added a Geissele ssa-e to the lower and gave my son my match two stage trigger that I tuned. Anyway. Back to the barrel. I am only interested in accurate rifles. If it won't shoot consistent .5-.75 moa with my hand loads someone else can own it because I won't. With that said. This barrel will hang around an inch with pretty much any ammo I have tried. Scatter nodes in load work ups go to about 1 1/4 at the worst. My best load with 69 Smks shoot sub .25. I have 2 all purpose loads with 50 grain ballistic tips that go sub .5. The best thing is that all loads seem to shoot to the same poi. Most of the time if you change loads, you'll get a different point of impact but not with this barrel. It really makes load work up easy. If I built another rifle tomorrow I'd buy another Wilson. I just see no reason not to.
