Needed shorter buttstocks for younger students in firearm safety classes. Not only are these perfect for that, they are far nicer than any others I've seen.
While the design is identical to the military M16 and M16a1, I've never seen any this perfect. I was issued a brand new rifle, twice, in the military and to be honest, those didn't look great. For the serious collector, you may consider beating it up a wee bit.
Shipping was instant as usual and very safely packed. USPS / UPS proof. They'd need to run over it with a truck to hurt it.
JSE has been my #1 supplier for many years. If they don't have it, I don't need it.

With A1 stocks becoming harder to find, I purchased this as it was in stock and is correct for a 602 build.
I'm not sure what the other reviewer is complaining about. The item I received is a brand new Brownells A1 stock assembly with screw. Molding seems perfect with no flash or sharp edges that I can discern. Mates perfectly to an A2 receiver extension without the spacer.

I wanted to stay as close as possible to an M16A1 retro build and bought this stock. The finish is not as nice as ANY A2 stock that I have bought from any supplier. I expected a higher quality product. The stock is especially rough at the sling clip near bottom. The fit to the buffertube is good though. I would only recommend this stock if authenticity is important.
