M16 Bolt Carrier with Staked Key

Excellent M16 Bolt Carrier. I had no problems inserting the firing pin retaining pin as the other reviewer posted. All you need to do is clean out the whole carrier, oil the parts well, drop some oil in the hole where the cotter pin goes in and you shouldn't have a problem. Sometimes you will get the cotter pin to stop half way and not insert properly, but just spin it around in the hole and it will eventually drop in place. Just received this carrier today. I had to ream the firing pin retainer pin hole with a drill bit. There was a burr or slag or something to that effect in the hole, preventing the cotter pin that holds the firing pin in place, from going through. Not sure how well it performs yet, but my first experience with this bolt carrier is a little less than “normal” from name brand carriers I’ve purchased before. All the other parts that I purchased from JSE (firing pin,Mil spec bolt cam pin,& firing pin retaining pin) are without issue. This bolt carrier is partnered with a SIG bolt, and seems to be a good fit.
