Like the name says this is not exactly an adjustable gas block. It is tunable. You regulate the amount of gas you need and lock it down. I installed one of these on a 6.5 Grendel; set it so the cases ejected about 3 feet and the bolt locked back and got a softer shooting rifle with less wear and tear. If you a going to run a silencer an adjustable gas block will serve you better. Very well made, good bargain,
