My Review

As far as I know, only the early 600 series USAF models had green furniture. But I could be wrong! That being said, if these were A1 style, the color is extremely close. Because the color goes all the way through, they can be modified (somewhat) to mimic the early configuration. I used a flap wheel on a hand grinder to remove the finger grip & ribs on the back. Then polish with progressively finer sandpaper. I couldn't add the sling hole as there isn't enough material on the A2 grip. The early ones were "fatter" too. Not anything you can do about it as the material isn't there either. You can get it very close for a retro build. Someone would need to be extremely familiar with the early models or have one side by side to notice any difference. Overall a good substitute and excellent quality.
