A2 Standard Fixed Stock Kit - Olive Drab ** MINOR Finish Blemishes ** View Pictures

I have to start with the obvious. The only green furniture I've ever seen was on very early USAF rifles. That doesn't mean they didn't exist, just that I've never seen any. So, if my assumption is correct, the A2 version didn't exist. The 601, 602, 603 & 604 were almost the M16 / M16a1 models but none had a trapdoor buttstock. The first were about 5/8" shorter. The outer edges of the buttplate were more rounded than the A2 style. I believe they are interchangeable. Another difference is the rear sling swivel. The attachment is different on the early models and the swivel itself is bare metal. The later models had a rubberized coating. Now for the good news... The color is so close they can be used with original handguards & pistol grips. Fitment is absolutely perfect. Even the screws are correct. As with all JSE products, overall quality is excellent. I didn't find any "finish flaws" they warned us about. As always, shipping was instant and very safely packed.
