A1/A2 2 Piece Retro Triangle Handguard - Black (Rifle Length)

Every detail is perfect! Right down to color & degree of gloss... or lack thereof. If you are extremely finicky about your firearms being perfect / factory fresh, I found some paint that EXACTLY matches this and the original finish. It's Dupli-Color brand high temp engine enamel in Low Gloss Black. So... if your worn buttstock doesn't match your new handguards, just give it a quick spray & you are good to go. FYI the high gloss you might be seeing on older furniture is from wear! The new parts are what the antique ones used to look like when they left the factory. This paint holds up extremely well too. Even if you wear or otherwise damage it, just spray it again. Hope that helps. Stay safe & keep shooting.

These are super nice! Unlike the military or early civilian versions, these are actually high quality. Void of the common waves & ripples. I can't swear to it but they might be stronger too. I've seen a few of my students smack them pretty hard yet haven't damaged any yet. The originals seemed to break merely by looking at them the wrong way. Fit / finish is excellent.

I installed these on an A2 just to test the fit & color match to my A2 stock. These hand guards are tight & solid. They’re flat black, and nothing like the original shiny black plastic hand guards that I’m familiar with from the 1980s. JSE had them to me on the West coast in 3 days, with a flat $4.00 shipping. Unbelievable! The color match is good, and they feel solid. Now, if JSE could only source “higher-end” chrome lined A1 barrels. I’d buy these again!

Snap in fit. No trimming or sanding. Smooth finish. Got the retro look I wanted on my A4. Good price and would buy again.

I am in process of putting my 50 year old AR15-A1 back to what it looked like back in the 70s. I looked around for triangular guards but was not convinced until I found the products at JSE. I agree 100% with all the others, these are absolutely the best all the way around, perfect fit, color, finish. What else can I say, perfect. I am ordering another set for another A1 I am working on to replace the junk that is on it. I thought I may have to do some grinding, filing, dremel tool, on these, but like I said they are perfect.
